Inquest into Larkhill soldier's death to start in Salisbury

Jaysley Beck took her own life after months of harassment by her boss

An inquest into the death of a teenage soldier in South Wiltshire will start in Salisbury today (10/2).

An Army service inquiry report published in 2023 found Jaysley Beck took her own life after being sexually harassed by her boss for two months, who wanted to start a relationship with her.

The Royal Artillery Gunner was found dead at Larkhill Camp in December 2021.

The inquest is being held at Wiltshire and Swindon Coroner's Court on Endless Street in Salisbury.

It's expected to last two weeks.
