A large quantity of illegal vapes and counterfeit cigarettes have been seized from three shops in Tidworth and Ludgershall.

Police have been out with Wiltshire Trading Standards officers in the towns, and Amesbury, on Thursday (16th November).

They visited stores initially as part of Operation Sceptre - a national campaign tackling knife crime.

Checks were made at shops to make sure they're complying with rules and selling knives and bladed articles.

Officers said:

"It was great to see those present engaging with knife awareness and how they operate with regard to the selling of these items and to whom."
