The Consumer Data Research Centre have published results of how healthy places are from around the UK.

It ranks areas from 1-10, the lower the score the more healthy it is.

This is done by data collected on a number of factors, including:

  • Access to fast food, pubs, off-licenses, gambling outlets etc.
  • Access to GPs, hospitals, pharmacies, dentists, leisure services
  • The air quality
  • Access to green and blue spaces like parks and rivers

It's been given a rating of 7, however they are some areas in the city that are ranked quite low by themselves.

This includes Bemerton and Wilton, which are both 2.

Meanwhile, areas of Laverstock have been given a 9.
