How do you train your lockdown puppy for you going back to the office?
The Dogs Trust Salisbury has given Greatest Hits Radio some tips on how to prepare for more easing of restrictions.
New research by More Than says that two in five pet owners are spotting worrying signs their dog's become more anxious since restrictions eased in April.
It also says puppies bought during lockdown are more likely to be distressed, because of things like our routines are changing.
HOW DO YOU PREVENT ANXIETY IN YOUR DOGS?
The charity say to make sure your dog has a comfy bed or den, where they can relax, and give them something fun to keep busy, like a long-lasting treat or puzzle toy.
Charlotted Huggins from the Dogs Trust in Newton Tony says it's all about preparation:
"Factor in time apart each day, so just start with really short periods and associate it with something positive.
"Then gradually build up that time left alone.
"We would definitely recommend starting this now especially as more and more people are returning to the office."
