Crews responded to several 999 calls last night

A bungalow in Coombe Bissett has been destroyed by a fire.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue say they took several 999 calls last night reporting a house fire on Rockbourne Road.

Crews say a large column of smoke could be seen billowing from the scene.

Seven fire engines, along with a water carrier from Ringwood and command unit attended.

The home along with two double garages were destroyed in the blaze whilst two people suffered smoke inhalation.

At this stage the fire is believed to be accidental.
