The Stars Appeal have given a well needed boost to some of Salisbury District Hospital's front line staff.

They teamed up with Nole Pizza and Food-E-Things Salisbury to deliver over 200 sourdough pizza's to the hospital.

In a post on Twitter Stars Appeal said:

"An awesome time was had by all this evening giving out 200 plus sourdough Pizzas to frontline staff at our hospital thanks to our good friends Nole sourdough pizza and Food-E-Things."

The company provided the treats at a cost price, which the charity have then been handing out to different staff on a few different shifts.

It's not the first time Stars appeal have treated staff at Salisbury District Hospital, in January they delivered 160 pizzas to staff in A&E, Pitton Ward, The Acute Medical Unit and more.

The charity are trying to help both staff and patients through the Covid-19 pandemic.

In order to allow them to treat those working hard you can donates to their fund through their website.
