High value watches stolen from house in Wilton

A number of high value watches have been stolen during a burglary at a home in Wilton.

At some point on Friday afternoon (October 8th) the offender or offenders broke into the property on Burcombe Lane.

They managed to get in by forcing their way through the back door before carrying out a search of one of the bedrooms, stealing a number of items, including five expensive watches.

As part of police enquiries, a 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, as well as unrelated drugs and driving offences.

He has been interviewed and released on conditional bail while the investigation continues.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area on that afternoon, or who has seen watches for sale in suspicious circumstances, to call Salisbury CID.
