Libraries across Wiltshire and Hampshire are offering support to residents who need help digitally completing their 2021 Census forms.

For the first time Census is being run online, with residents receiving a letter in the first week of March with an access code to complete the questionnaire on their computers, phones or tablets.

Five libraries in Wiltshire and 16 in Hampshire will be providing assistance to those able to digitally fill out their forms so are offering one to one appointments until 4th May.

At the libraries there will be trained advisors to take residents, step by step, through the form.

The census is run by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) which has partnered with a number of organisations to ensure that support is available for those who need it.

WHICH LIBRARIES IN WILTSHIRE AND HAMPSHIRE ARE OFFERING SUPPORT?

In Wiltshire: Chippenham, Devizes, Salisbury, Trowbridge and Warminster.

In Hampshire: Alton, Bordon, Bridgemary, Emsworth, Fordingbridge, Gosport Discovery Centre, Hayling Island, Hythe, Leigh Park, Liphook, Lymington, New Milton, Petersfield, Ringwood, Totton, Waterlooville.

Residents are required by law to take part in Census, it's a chance to help make sure they and their community get the services they need for the next 10 years.
