Sam Burden created a version of Dr Seuss' grumpy character, with help from her mum, after her two young children became obsessed with the film.

She ordered a costume online before stuffing it with straw and then displaying him at their farm in Stuckton- but last night (22nd December ) thieves struck.

Sam told Greatest Hits Radio Salisbury;

"We've had loads of people taking selfies and pictures of him and he's just brought a smile to people, especially our children. This morning we went out there and he's gone!"

Sam has put up a reward for the safe return of her grinch.

"Just pop him back, I'm not worried who you are or why you did it."

Anyone with any information is urged to call Sam on 07904 280832.
