Fundraiser launched for memorial of mum and daughter murdered in Salisbury
The pair were killed by their husband and father in June this year

A Just Giving page has been launched to raise money for a permanent memorial of Aneta and Nikoleta Zdun, the mother and daughter murdered in Salisbury.
Salisbury resident Cameron Pratt started the fundraiser, on behalf of their Wessex Road neighbours, which has a target of £800.
Originally, £500 was the aim, but it has already been smashed.
Just five days after it was first set up, over £600 has already been donated by over 40 supporters.
On the Just Giving page, Cameron wrote:
"This tragedy has left a hole in the lives of all who knew Aneta and Nikoleta, including the neighbours, workmen, and the services who raced to the scene on that sunny June day. As Aneta and Nikoleta were returned to Poland after the incident, not everybody will get the opportunity to visit their graves and pay their respects.
As time has gone on and a new family have moved into the house where the incident has happened, the community and residents of Wessex Road feel there should be a permanent memorial somewhere in Salisbury for all those who are grieving the loss of these two amazing young women to lay flowers, sit, or remember their lives and pay their respects."
It's not been decided what kind of memorial will be created, but Cameron is going to see how much they can raise and then choose what is best.

LIFE IN PRISON
On Friday 18th of December, 40 year old** Marcin Zdun was sentenced to life imprisonment** with a minimum term of 34 years.
Zdun murdered his wife and 18 year old daughter at their home in Wessex Road on June 1st.
He carried out the killings in a "jealous rage" after he believed the pair were having an affair with the same man from his work.
The pair were murdered in front of Aneta's two other younger daughters as well.
Following the sentencing, Det Supt Darren Hannant said:
"Marcin Zdun carried out this awful, vicious, premeditated attack on his wife and daughter in broad daylight in front of witnesses and his two younger daughters.
I was never in no doubt that this was a deliberate killing of both women and that he was focused on this attack before he arrived at the family home that day. Zdun refused to speak about what happed when questioned and at no stage since his arrest shown any remorse for these horrible crimes.
This is a very unusual and extreme case of domestic abuse for which there were few warning signs. Aneta and Nikoleta were very close and had discussed their concerns about Zdun with each other but there was little knowledge of the abusive relationship outside of the family."
