Fourteen year old reportedly assaulted in Salisbury

Wiltshire Police say that a fourteen year old boy was assaulted in Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury.

It's believed to have happened at around 7pm last Friday evening (23rd July).

The force say it's understood a group of boys aged between 14 and 16 were involved in the incident and one was punched in the face.

Two of the boys were described as wearing orange shorts and no t-shirts, one boy was wearing black shorts and no t-shirt, while another boy was in a blue t-shirt, shorts a cap and carrying a fishing rod.

One of the boys was riding a bike, while another was on a scooter.

Police hope someone may have witnessed the incident and can help with their enquiries.
