Wiltshire Roads Policing officers have reported four drivers to court in just one evening.

It's after they were all clocked going at 100 mph or more on the A303 at the dual carriageway section near Chicklade.

One of the drivers stopped had an 'interesting' excuse for travelling so quickly.

He told officers he had a 'sudden and uncontrolled need for the bathroom'.

Other motorists were caught at 102 mph, 111 mph and even as quick as 121 mph.

Drivers caught speeding at over 100 mph face a possible ban and six points on their licence.
