A Community Support Officer patrolling in Fordingbridge dealing with ASB & nuisance, discovered a strong smell of cannabis coming from front first floor window of address in town.

When the officer knocked at the door, a man jumped from a rear first floor window to try and escape.

The suspect has now been identified, with slow time police enquiries in hand, and a return visit by Police is planned.

The incident has highlighted that cannabis is illegal and though not as dangerous as class A drugs, does bring misery to communities with organised criminal groups involved in exploitation of vulnerable persons, modern day slavery & violence.

If you know someone who is dealing cannabis call Police on 101 or alternatively phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
