Footpath closed as council investigate Bradford-on-Avon sinkhole
It's around two foot in size
A sinkhole in Wiltshire is reported to have more than doubled in size, and now more investigations are going to take place by the council.
It's around two foot in size, and the footpath where it appeared has now been closed.
Sam Howell, Director of Highways & Transport at the local authority said: "We have carried out initial investigations into the hole that has appeared on Well Path, Bradford on Avon.
"In the coming days we will be carrying out further investigations using a drainage camera to assess the void in more detail and determine the most appropriate solution.
"We are working to resolve this as soon as it is safe to do so.
"In the meantime, we ask people to avoid using the path while investigations continue."
