First Salisbury Comedy Festival coming this summer

Some of the acts set to perform have already been announced

The first Salisbury Comedy Festival is set to arrive in the city this Summer.

It's going to be happening on Hudson's Field on August 7th, organised by the team at Keystone Management and the New Inn Amesbury.

They have already announced some of the line up for the festival which include headliners Dara O Briain and Frankie Boyle,** both well known for the TV programme 'Mock The Week'.

Other acts include:

  • Dane Baptiste
  • Kiri Pritchard-McLean
  • Angela Barnes

The event is also going to be raising money for the Stars Appeal at Salisbury District Hospital.

On their website it says:

"Salisbury becomes comedy capital in it's first ever Comedy Festival on Saturday 7th August. We are set to take Salisbury by storm with an amazing line-up of your favourite comedians, performing throughout the afternoon and evening, and best still, we're doing this to raise much needed funds for Salisbury Hospital Stars Appeal."

Early bird tickets go on sale today (Saturday 24th April) at 10am.

If the event is cancelled due to Covid-19, tickets will be automatically passed forward to when it is rescheduled.
