Firefighters have been tackling a blaze in Tisbury at a commercial property.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Service were called at 6:28pm last night (Wednesday 14 June) to the fire on Station Works.

Crews from Shaftesbury, Mere, Wilton, Salisbury, and Tisbury, along with a water carrier from Andover attended the incident.

30 per cent of the property was damaged and a small amount of fire spread to the surrounding area, including the train line.

Firefighters extinguished the fire by 10pm last night, with crews remaining on scene into the early hours of this morning (Thursday 15 June).

The fire service says the incident is still open as a reinspection is ongoing.
