'Fords at Ford' raises thousands for the Stars Appeal
The event brought together all models of the famous car brand
A huge gathering of all things related to one specific car brand has helped to raise ÂŁ5,000 for the Stars Appeal at Salisbury District Hospital.
The 'Fords at Ford' event was held at Fieldfare Trailers last month.
It brought together all versions of Fords, from cars to tractors and vans from all eras, along with family activities and trade stalls.
This was the first day of its kind at Ford, with plans to make it a biennial gathering - returning in 2025.
The ÂŁ5,000 raised will go to the general fund at the Stars Appeal, towards services and equipment at SDH, over and above what the NHS is able to provide.
The charity has a ÂŁ1 million fundraising target each year.
Consultant Paediatrician, Dr Rowena Staples, one of their ambassadors has met with the owners and staff at Fieldfare to have the donation handed over.
