Pair of South Wiltshire farms burgled

Power tools have been taken from Whiteparish and Landford

Thousands of pounds worth of power tools have been stolen during two burglaries from South Wiltshire farms over the weekend.

Entry was forced to a farm in Whiteparish at around 10.20pm on Saturday (4th January), with several pieces of equipment taken.

Around 20 minutes later, a silver Land Rover Defender was spotted leaving another farm in Landford.

The owner was verbally abused as the vehicle left, with around £1,800 of tools stolen.

A white Renault panel van was also also taken, and driven along the A36 Southampton Road.

Police are linking the incidents and want to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity from the areas, or has dash cam footage and CCTV that could help with enquiries.
