The family of a man who died in a crash near Salisbury last month have paid tribute to him saying William Beal was 'infinitely loved as a son, brother, friend and soldier'.
The 21 year old died in a single vehicle collision after his vehicle left the A30 and collided with a telegraph pole in the early hours of August 29th.
In a statement his family said;
"Words cannot describe how much he will be missed by his family and friends and how devastating the loss is."
"William will always be remembered and loved by many."
Wiltshire Police said William’s family appreciates all the messages of love and support, and it is the family’s wish for their privacy to be respected as they try to come to terms with their grief.
William served with the Royal Dragoon Guards based at Warminster.
An Army spokesperson said:
“It is with sadness that we confirm the death of Trooper William Beal of the Royal Dragoon Guards on 29th August 2022. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this sad time.”
