Elderly woman assaulted outside Tesco in Salisbury
A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual body harm
A teenager has been arrested after an elderly woman was pushed over outside a supermarket in Salisbury.
It happened outside Tesco on Castle Street on January 21st.
A woman in her 70s was hurt after being pushed to the ground.
A 14 year old has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released on bail.
Officers are appealing for any witnesses to assist with their investigation.
A spokesperson from Salisbury Police said:
"We are appealing for witnesses after an elderly woman was pushed over in Salisbury.
"On January 21, at around 4.15pm, a woman in her 70s was pushed over outside Tesco Express in Castle Street, sustaining injuries which are not thought to be life-changing.
"A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and has been released on bail.
