First ever Eat Nourish Love Fair arrives in Tidworth
The two day wellbeing and shopping event replaces Early Early Christmas
The first ever Eat Nourish Love wellbeing and food fair kicks off in Tidworth today (Tuesday 24th September).
The event at Tedworth Park replaces the previous Early Early Christmas Fair, which ran for nearly 30 years.
The event's being held from 2.00pm to 9.30pm today, and then from 9.30am to 4.00pm tomorrow (Wednesday 25th September).
Marquees will be filled with more than 120 shopping stalls, while talks and demonstrations will cover subjects like health, fitness, beauty and mental wellbeing.
Among the speakers during the Fair are:
- Andy Mackenzie, Olympic High-Performance Coach, Certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and Transformational Life Coach
- General Sir Nick Carter GCB CBE DSO on the war in Ukraine and his book "A New World Disorder, War in Europe and the Middle East and What This Could Mean for the Future"
- Liz Earle founder of Liz Earle Wellbeing in conversation with journalist and author Chloe Fox
- Caroline Idiens of Caroline's Circuits on "Staying Stronger for Longer in Midlife"
- Charlie Gray of Ask Charlie How about "Preserving Practical Wisdom"
The Fair's also supporting charities, with a portion of the sales made at the shopping stalls going to military rehabilitation charity Walking with the Wounded, and Horatio's Garden, who provide outdoor spaces at hospitals for spinal injuries patients.
Organiser Caroline Cary has explained why they were chosen:
"Walking with the Wounded is very much a hands-on charity about supporting veterans but also one of the most important things with everything I've done, and with my husband having been in the military, it's about the military connection and the community. It's also very local, and the Chair of Trustees will be opening the Fair.
"With Horatio's Garden, I know founders Olivia and David Chapple very well and my son Guy went to school with Horatio. There's a huge love of that charity and what they've achieved. Nature, mental health and wellness is something I fell very strongly about as well."
General admission to the ENL Fair is ÂŁ6.00 on both days, with children under 12 are free.
Evening Reception tickets are priced at ÂŁ25.00 per person, which includes food and a glass of champagne/wine, or ÂŁ10.00 per person for a glass of champagne and shopping.
Tickets for the talks are ÂŁ20 and include free entry to the fair on both days.
