Durrington DJ appears on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway
He took part in a singalong with Kaiser Chiefs
Local celebrity Disco Dion from Durrington made a surprise appearance on our TV screens on Saturday night.
He was part of a game on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway and he had a chance to win £500.
Dion was a contestant on the Singalong live, which saw the Kaiser Chiefs take to the stage and sing 'Ruby'.
The band would then stop at the end of a line, and the competitors would have to sing the final word, and they would win the money if they got it right.
Dion was the second participant, but was sadly unable to win the cash.
He was signed up by his wife Emma, who had managed to keep it a secret from him!
On a Facebook live video, the DJ called it a "shameful" moment:
"I'm glad everybody was amused, you know how much I like rock music! Actually I'm not embarrassed at all, I think I'm getting more exposure for not getting it right than getting it right. My kids are rinsing me everybody could be fuming, I'm just about to delete Ruby Ruby Ruby from my hard drive forever."
