Officers were called to the Esso garage in East Street in Warminster around 7am yesterday (3rd October) after reports a fuel tanker was unable to deliver due to a vehicle blocking the site.

Wiltshire Police say the driver who was asleep was woken up and later given a breath test.

A 28 year old local man was arrested and subsequently charged with driving a motor vehicle over the legal alcohol limit.

He will appear before Salisbury Magistrates next month.
