A man accused of murdering a motorcyclist in Dinton last week is set to stand trial in June.

Paul Barrett, 42, is accused of killing Ryan Brindley, 43, in a collision on Hindon Road close to the Wyndham pub at around 7pm on December 22nd.

Wiltshire Police said the collision involved a Volkswagen Touran and a motorcycle.

The crash happened in Dinton

At a hearing at Winchester Crown Court, Judge Angela Morris, the Recorder of Winchester, listed the case for a two-week trial on June 13th.

Barrett, who spoke only to confirm his name and that he understood the proceedings, is due back in court on March 25th to enter his pleas.

The victim, Ryan Brindley, was from Amesbury.

His family have since paid tribute to him, calling him "one of a kind".
