A driver's been stopped on the A303 after being clocked speeding at more than 110 mph, while over the limit for alcohol too.

Wiltshire Police pulled over the car on the westbound carriageway past Winterbourne Stoke on Monday (8th August).

Officers captured the car's speed on their body worn cameras, and also found the vehicle hadn't had a valid MOT since April 2022.

The driver was breathalysed at the scene, and recorded 55ug of alcohol in their system - the legal limit is 35ug.

Further checks were also made in custody, also over the limit.

They've now been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, to appear in court at a later date.
