The pub, on The Borough in Downton, has posted on their Facebook page to confirm that they've been informed of a Covid-19 case connected to the venue.

They're closing temporarily to allow for a deep clean, for their staff to get tested and so that NHS Test and Trace can get in touch with customers that may be affected.

The Goat say they're hopeful of being able to reopen 'as soon as it's safe to do so'.

Anyone contacted by Test and Trace after having visited the pub will be required by law to self-isolate for 14 days.
