Firefighters tackle Downton field fire
Crews were called to a field near Breamore Road in Downton

Crews were called around 2pm following reports of a field fire near Braemore Road in Downton.
Appliances from Redhill Park and Verwood attended the scene, along with a crew from Fordingbridge.
Upon arrival, they found an area of grass field measuring 50m x 100m alight, which has been extinguished using beaters and two hose jet reels.
The stop message came at 2:35pm and crews have now left the scene.
People in the area had been advised to close all doors and windows.
