Donation box broken into at Laverstock farm
Riverbourne Community Farm has called the theft 'heartbreaking'
A charity donation box outside a Laverstock farm has been broken into, with the money inside stolen.
The metal catch on the wooden box was forced open at some point after the Riverbourne Community Farm closed on Sunday (13th August) and yesterday morning (Monday 14th August).
The team at the farm have called the theft 'heartbreaking', posting on social media:
"Who does that to a community farm that is free to visit?"
Wiltshire Police have also confirmed that they're investigating the theft, saying they're in the 'early stages' of their enquiries.
It's not known how much money would have been in the donation box when it was broken into.
