'Disorder' outside Old Sarum shop

Police were called out to the incident yesterday morning (Monday 19th October).

A man and a woman were seen to be having an argument, which turned into a physical altercation, outside the Co-Op in Crosier Close.

It happened at around 8.30am on Monday morning, so police are hoping there may have been witnesses to what happened.

DESCRIPTIONS

Wiltshire Police tell us the man involved is described as:

  • White
  • Between 20 and 25 years old
  • Wearing a dark t-shirt and jeans
  • He also had a stretching earring in his ear

The woman is described as:

  • Mixed-race
  • Between 20 and 25 years old
  • Wearing dark clothing

A 22 year old man was arrested by officers attending the scene on suspicion of drug driving.

He was taken to custody at Gablecross Police Station in Swindon and has since been released under investigation.
