New digital signs for bus stops across Wiltshire won't be in place until February.

Wiltshire Council's putting in the Real Time Passenger Information screens, to give people more accurate and detailed updates on where their bus is.

The signs were meant to be installed during October and November.

But the £600,000 project will be delayed by three months.

The authority's told us that the 'deployment of the new signs is taking longer than originally envisaged', with installation now expected in February.

The old signs were switched off on August 31st, with passengers left without information on their services ever since.

They were turned off because the new system being installed isn't compatible with the previous screens.
