The red Vauxhall van had been parked outside a block of flats in Lanfranc Close in Old Sarum at around 7.00pm on Thursday night (17th December).

The driver had gone inside to deliver a parcel.

But when he returned, the van, which included parcels, and personal items including a wallet and phone, had been driven away.

VAN RECOVERED

Luckily, the van was found yesterday (Friday 18th December) in Bramley Way in Amesbury, with all of its contents still there.

The van was later found in Amesbury with nothing missing

Wiltshire Police are now investigating what happened and are asking for witnesses to come forward.

They're urging anyone who was in the Lanfranc Close area on Thursday evening, and might have information, to get in touch with them.

Dash-cam footage would also be helpful for their enquiries.

If you can help, you're asked to contact officers on 101, quoting crime reference number 54200124936.
