Dangerous hole found on A345 at Enford

Wiltshire Council say a 'large void' has been found under the road just south of Enford.

"It may look like a small hole from the surface, but it's more than 1.2m deep and 1m wide, so it's dangerous. "

"We’ve made the site safe with temporary traffic signals but from Monday 28 September we have to close this section of the A345 near Enford."

The road will be closed for two days.

Diversions are in place, but drivers are being warned to allow extra time if travelling in the area.
