Firefighters called to blaze in Culver Street Car Park

Crews were also called to an address on Church Road in Laverstock

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service were called out to two incidents in Salisbury on Sunday night.

Two crews from Salisbury fire station were first called to Culver Street car park, before joining a crew from Wilton at a premises in Laverstock.

A tent and belongings were found alight around 7:13pm in the multi-storey car park and extinguished the blaze with a single hose reel jet.

Fortunately, nobody was in the tent, which was destroyed.

The evening did not stop there for the pair of crews as they were also called to Church Road in Laverstock, where smoke had been seen inside a premises.

A crew from Wilton were first on the scene and while there was smoke, no fire was detected following an inspection.

No one was hurt in either incident.
