The Sarum South Primary Care Network has now vaccinated 20,000 people at their Covid-19 clinics.

This includes patients who have attended Salisbury Cathedral which opened as a vaccination site on Saturday 16th January, as well as staff visits to housebound patients and local care homes.

The Sarum South PCN consists of five practices:

  • Salisbury Medical Practice,
  • Three Chequers Medical Practice,
  • Harcourt Surgery,
  • Whiteparish Surgery
  • Downton Surgery
Salisbury Cathedral has been a vaccination centre since January

The PCN says it's delighted to reach the milestone;

"We are so proud of all our staff and volunteers across the network for reaching this milestone, working tirelessly to vaccinate the local population. We would like to say a huge thank you to the whole team who have made this happen."

90 year old David Jackson from Laverstock was one of the first to be given the Covid-19 jab

Meanwhile there's a reminder not to attend the vaccination clinic unless you have booked an appointment.
