Covid-19: Further death at SDH
189 patients in total have now passed away after testing positive
The death toll has risen due to the coronavirus pandemic at Salisbury District Hospital.
Sadly, it's been confirmed that another patient who had tested positive for COVID-19, and had been cared for at Salisbury District Hospital, has died.
A total of 189 patients have now passed away.
The patient was in his 70s and had underlying health conditions.
In a statement a spokesperson for SDH said:
"Our thoughts and condolences are with the patient's family and loved ones at this very difficult and distressing time. We currently have 52 in-patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 being cared for at the hospital."
