The Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust has confirmed that another person has died there, having tested positive for coronavirus.

A spokesperson for the Trust said:

"Sadly a total of 60 patients who had tested positive for COVID-19 have died at Salisbury District Hospital.

One man in his eighties, with pre-existing health conditions, died on 15th November.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the patient’s family and loved ones at this difficult time."

It's the first death since the 2nd of November, when two patients passed away there.

CASES

In the 7 days to the 12th of November, there were 535 confirmed cases of the virus in Wiltshire.
