Coronation Champion from Salisbury says King Charles is a ‘talented man’
NHS Volunteer Juliet Mosney was at the Coronation Concert
A volunteer from Salisbury, who was named a Coronation Champion, has described King Charles as a “talented man” and called the Coronation Concert a “spectacular” event.
Juliet Mosney works with the NHS volunteer responder scheme and won her award in the Health and Care category after helping vulnerable people during the pandemic.
Her award came with an invite to the Coronation Concert on Sunday (May 7th):
“It was just the most amazing event, it was the most wonderful experience to know you were part of the official Coronation celebrations,” she said.
500 Coronation Champions were seated at outside Windsor Castle for the concert, which featured performances from Lionel Ritchie, Katy Perry, and Take That.
“We had a really good view of the Royals and they looked to be enjoying the concert as much as we did,” Juliet said. She added: “To have so many amazing performances and such a wide range of different musical tastes, it really was spectacular.”
Juliet said the Coronation service itself felt like we had all been invited into a personal event for the Royal Family.
“It came through really strongly in the Concert what a talented man The King is, and also how much he has given to this country already,” Juliet said.
