As Coronation celebrations swing into top gear, you can join them at the Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury today (Sunday 7th May) for The Big Lunch.

The gardens are going to be transformed for family and friends to bring a picnic to a traditional British fete.

Street food, live music and magic shows are on offer for people to enjoy, while you can have a go at a variety of games and activities.

There is also the opportunity for children to dress up and Kings and Queens.

Several community groups are going to be in attendance including charities Children’s Chance and Salisbury Hospice, so you can support local causes.

The Big Lunch kicks off at 11.00am and finishes at 4.00pm, ahead of The Big Gig in Salisbury Market Place.

Other lunches are also taking place at Stonehenge, organised by English Heritage.

That's being held between 9.30am and 5.00pm.

Wilton is also holding a Big Lunch at Castle Meadow, between 12.00 and 3.00pm.
