A house in Amesbury has been served with a closure order, following police concerns about drug use and anti-social behaviour.

Local officers secured the order for a property in Redworth Drive, Archers Gate, from Salisbury Magistrates yesterday (Monday 15th January).

The closure order follows reports of Class A and B drug dealing, anti-social behaviour, cuckooing and having wanted offenders staying there.

It'll be in place until April 15th 2024.

Only the female tenant, emergency services personnel and representatives from ABRO Housing Association will be allowed to enter the house.

Regular checks will be carried out there, and anyone found on the premises who isn't permitted can be arrested, and face a fine or even imprisonment.

Anyone with concerns about unauthorised people entering the property is asked to call 101, or 999 in an emergency, quoting reference number 54230117013.
