A house in Eyres Way, Harnham, has been issued with a closure order after a joint investigation between Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Council.
Officers have been called to the address on a number of occasions to do with suspected drug activity, anti-social behaviour and violence.
The force and local authority have worked together to apply to the courts a full order.
It means that no one is allowed to enter the house for the next three months, anyone found doing so may be arrested.
It's hoped this measure will have a positive impact on the local community.
PC Mark Douglas said:
"We know how much misery has been caused in the local area by the criminal activity at this address, so we have worked hard with the local authority to have this full closure order granted by the courts.
We now need to make it clear that this property has been closed and that anyone who is found there could be arrested. Over the next few months we will be carrying out increased patrols to ensure the order is being adhered to.
We hope this shows that we, along with Wiltshire Council, will take strong action to protect our local communities and keep people safe from this type of anti-social and criminal behaviour."
