The popular Clarendon Way Walk is taking place this weekend.

The event, in aid of our local children's hospice Naomi House & Jacksplace, has various distance options over the course of the next two days - 11th/12th June

This year the walk includes a new 'mini clarendon' distance of 5 miles for families which is happening on Sunday 12th.

There's also the usual 52, 26 and 12 miles where those who've signed-up will walk through the beautiful Hampshire and Wiltshire countryside.

The original Clarendon Way Walk, now in its 15th year, takes participants off the beaten track through some of Hampshire and Wiltshire's most beautiful countryside. The Classic Clarendon is on 12 June: Participants will walk from Winchester to Salisbury (26 miles) during the day.

There's also the Half Way Clarendon - 12 June, going from Broughton to Salisbury (12 miles) during the day. Participants start at Broughton, halfway along the Clarendon Way, for a less challenging walk.

And the new distance, for families and tiny feet, if the Mini Clarendon, a five mile stroll from Pitton to Salisbury, for the last stretch of the Clarendon Way.

And the hardy walkers will be doing the Night & Day Clarendon starting today 11th into Sunday, 12th June. That's all the way from Salisbury to Winchester and back to Salisbury (a 52 mile ultra challenge).

There's also the Night Time Clarendon tonight, 11th June, which is Salisbury to Winchester (26 miles) throughout the night. Walkers will leave Salisbury as the sun sets.
