A number of Christmas trees have been stolen in Salisbury city centre.

The incidents all happened last night (Monday 18th November) and police are still trying to work exactly how many where taken.

Businesses were targeted, with a suspect believed to be driving a white Vauxhall van.

That failed to stop for officers on Churchill Way, before later being located in Milford Mill Road.

Officers are looking to gather CCTV footage of the thefts, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

They also want to hear from any further victims that might not have reported it so far.

You can contact Wiltshire Police on 101, quoting log number 1 of November 19th.

Anonymous reports can also be passed on to Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
