Author: Mike DraperPublished 24th Dec 2021

Two rabbits were stolen overnight from the new farm shop at Nomansland.

The animals - one of which was going to be given as a Christmas gift for a 12 year old girl - were taken from New Forest Veg Barn in School Road, between 7pm on Wednesday (Dec 22) and 9am on Thursday (Dec 23).

One of the rabbits is a female, described as white with black ears and three black spots. She was stolen from inside a hutch. The second rabbit was male, black and white, and was kept in a cage in a separate run.

The enclosures were fox proof and the rabbits could not escape on their own.

The farm shop is new, and only opened very recently.

A Facebook post was shared locally about the theft of the rabbits
