The traditional ‘Christmas In Fordingbridge and Christmas Light Switch On’ event isn't taking place this year due to the COVID 19 pandemic.

Fordingbridge Town Council says it's "extremely disappointed" but the safety of the community is paramount.

New lights have been purchased to adorn the town centre which the Council say will "provide a resplendent and festive display."

Free parking will be available on a number of weekends in December.
