How are bin collections affected over Christmas in Wiltshire and Hampshire?
We've been getting details from Wiltshire Council, New Forest and Test Valley
The timetables for collecting our general waste and recycling will be affected by the Christmas and New Year Bank Holidays.
Some of our normal collection days might be altered as a result.
Here's the changes for the Wiltshire Council area:
No collections will take place on Christmas Day (Friday 25th December), or New Year's Day (Friday 1st January).
Catch up rounds will be carried out on Saturday 2nd and Saturday 9th January.
Garden waste collections have now stopped and will resume on Saturday 9th January.

NEW FOREST DISTRICT COUNCIL
There are a few changes to collections for households in the New Forest area.
Here's the details:
All collections will be back to their normal timetable from Monday 4th January.
As ever, New Forest District Council will also be holding real Christmas tree recycling services.
If you subscribe to garden waste collections, trees under 6 feet can be added to your bag for collection between January 4th and 18th.
Drop-off points will also be set up for trees to be chipped up between Saturday 2nd January and Sunday 17th January.
The most local to us are:
- Fordingbridge - A338 slip road car park (SP6 5JA)
- Ringwood - The Furlong long stay car park (BH24 1AT)
TEST VALLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL
Some rubbish collections have been brought forward to cope with the Christmas period:
Garden waste collections are now suspended until Monday 4th January.
We're also reminded that we're welcome to leave any excess rubbish in a bag beside our black bin - but only one will be accepted per property.
Excess recycling can be left in cardboard boxes beside the brown bin.
Household Recycling Centres in the Test Valley will remain open, except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
