Christmas Begins in Salisbury TONIGHT
Events are taking place in the Market Place and Guildhall Square
The festive season officially arrives in Salisbury later today (Friday 17th November).
The Christmas lights around the city centre will be switched on, with the popular FROST bar and food stalls opening up for a six week stint once again.
Activities in the Market Place include festive stalls, street performers and face painting from 1.00pm.
There'll also be DJ sets from Disco Dion from 4.00pm and live music, culminating in headliners Box Party - events on stage end at 8.00pm.
It also heralds the start of Christmas on the Square, which runs through until December 30th.
The FROST bar returns with its tee-pee style setting with fire pits inside, alongside the traditional Bratwurst stand run by Charter 1227 and the Gourmet Cheese Company.
This year, there'll also be festive entertainment each Monday to Wednesday evening - starting on November 20th.
That'll include things like silent discos, family story times, comedy events and more.
The street food stalls will be open daily between 11.00am and 7.00pm, with FROST open 11.00am to 11.00pm, Monday to Saturday and 11.00am to 10.30pm on Sundays.
