Children and young people in Wiltshire who want help with their mental health can call a new phone number from April 1st.

The new number is 0300 247 0090 (Option 4) and will be available to families, children and young people to call for support.

HCRG Care Group will take over the service from Barnardos and deliver advice & information, therapeutic activities, as well as therapy and counselling.

Cabinet Minister for Children’s Services Cllr Laura Mayes said: “We want to be there for children and young people who are finding it hard to cope.

“This service provides early support and advice and a range of help designed to address those early fears and struggles. Being there early means preventing longer term issues which can have a devastating impact on a young person’s life.”
