11 year old boy hurt after being knocked off bike by passing car
Police are calling for witnesses to help their enquiries
An 11 year old boy has suffered minor injuries after being knocked off his bike by a passing car in Trowbridge.
The boy was clipped by the mirror of a car as it passed on Tudor Drive in Hilperton at around 4.45pm on Sunday (2/3).
The driver failed to stop at the scene.
The child was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Multiple witnesses have described the vehicle to police as a black Honda or BMW.
Police are calling for more witnesses to aid their investigation.
People driving in the area on Sunday afternoon and have a dashcam, are asked to call 101 quoting log 54250026262.
Officers are also asking for any CCTV/doorbell footage in the surrounding area which shows a black car around the time of the collision.
The driver of the vehicle involved is asked to contact police as soon as possible.
