CCTV released after theft at Castle Street's Tesco

A man's wallet was stolen and his bank cards later used in various locations

Officers investigating a theft and fraud at a local Tesco have released CCTV images of a woman they would like to identify.

Police say an unknown suspect stole a man's wallet and later used the victim's bank cards in various locations.

The incident happened on 24 December, sometime between 5pm-6pm, at Tesco, in Castle Street, Salisbury.

Salisbury Police have released pictures of a woman in connection with the incident.

Police want to identify the person in these CCTV images, in connection with a theft and fraud incident in Salisbury

A spokesperson from the Salisbury Community Policing Team said:

"We are appealing to the public for help in identifying this woman in connection with an incident of theft and fraud in Salisbury.

"On December 24, sometime between 5pm and 6pm, an unknown suspect has stolen the victim’s wallet while he was in the Tesco in Castle Street, Salisbury.

"The suspect has then used the victim’s bank cards in various locations.

"We believe this woman may be able to help us with our enquiries.
