Officers investigating an assault in Salisbury have re-issued an appeal for information - as they look to identify two potential witnesses.

The alleged assault happened at around 2.15am on 20 February in Milford Street and left a man with facial injuries.

Officers have previously issued a CCTV appeal, but are now trying to identify a potential witness.

Police have released an image of a woman who was in the area at the time, in the company of a man who may be her friend or partner, and officers believe the pair may have key information which could assist their enquiries.

Anyone who is able to identify the woman and her partner, or has information on this case, should call CID South on 101, quoting crime reference 54220018152. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
